I am Joo-Sun Park,
chairman of the Korea-Saudi Arabia Industrial and Trade Association.

There is an Arab proverb that says, “If guests do not come, even angels will not come.” Over the past 62 years, Korea and Saudi Arabia have demonstrated more than mere occasional visits; our relationship has been marked by mutual support, sharing of resources, and collaborations.

Since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1962, our two countries have engaged in vibrant exchanges across various fields, including politics, economy, and culture. The recent visits by President His Excellency Yoon Suk Yeol and Crown Prince His Royal Highness Mohammed Bin Salman have further solidified our partnership, positioning us as key allies under ‘Saudi Vision 2030’ and contributing significantly to the economic development and national prosperity of both countries.

In this regard, the Korea-Saudi Arabia Industrial and Trade Association was established to enhance exchanges and cooperation between in our two countries and to foster a future-oriented strategic partnerships. We hope that through your active participation, our association can faithfully serve as a bridge for collaboration and exchanges, not only between private sectors and businesses but also between our two nations.
